"The Reluctant Messenger" at Rendezvous With Madness 2023. Screening November 5th.

A trifecta of firsts for this creator (dramatic monologue written; theatrical production, staged and filmed; and, public dramatic performance, live or filmed) "The Reluctant Messenger" is one part personal exposition, one part social commentary; and, one part plea to the audience for acceptance and compassion as WE are ALL called to engage in some sober reflection on our "way of life". Originally performed "live" at the Workman Arts Open House Zoom event on June 26, 2020, the streamed performance itself was unavailable to edit and share. This long awaited, short film will premiere as part of the "Born To Be An Artist" shorts series in this year's Rendezvous With Madness festival on Sunday, November 5, 2023. A panel discussion will wake place after the films. It will also be available to stream from the festival website from November 6-12.
